ravings, rantings and ramblings
While reading the newspaper yesterday, I came across French philosopher René Descartes’s postulate that sensory experience, the primary source of knowledge, is capable of being tricked and therefore must be doubted. Kept mulling about it all day; it takes time for a non-philosophy student to grasp. And then, I saw what he meant.
As humans we are constantly cheating one another by sending out a different perception.
We hug when we do not mean it.
We air-kiss to show affection, when all it is affectation.
We give high-five’s when there is no camaraderie left.
Just another instance when I strongly feel that animals are far better than us all. They do just what they feel like; be it cuddling or copulating.
